Refunds

• If for any relevant reason a refund of duty is due, a request for refund must be submitted within a period of 4 years from the date of the original declaration and must be made in writing following a corrective declaration registered by the Notary.
• The request for refund may be sent by email to [email protected] or by normal mail to Property Tax Directorate - 63, Old Mint Street, Valletta. 
• One must include the IBAN number as refunds are settled through direct transfers.
