The Large Taxpayer Office (LTO) serves as a dedicated one-stop shop for large taxpayers and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring streamlined services and tailored support. As a critical division of the Malta Tax and Customs Administration (MTCA), the LTO is responsible for facilitating compliance, processing payments, conducting audits, and performing verification activities for its clients. 

The LTO also provides personalized customer care to meet the unique needs of large taxpayers and high-net-worth individuals. Acting as the first point of contact between these taxpayers and other directorates within the MTCA, the LTO plays a pivotal role in fostering efficient communication and collaboration across departments. 

The LTO is composed of a specialized team, including a Director and dedicated case officers who monitor compliance and payments. The office also houses an Audit and Verification Unit, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and a Customer Care Unit focused on delivering exceptional service to its clientele.
