Merchant’s Request (Form 12)

As part of the Malta Tax and Customs Administration’s ongoing facilitation process, economic operators will no longer be required to purchase the Merchant’s Request (Form 12).

Effective immediately, the Form 12 is available for free download. Operators are requested to:

• Download the form from the portal
• Print it back-to-back
• Present it to Customs when receiving a service

This change aims to simplify procedures and improve service accessibility.
