Update on Customs Sealed Containers Exiting Freeport Gate

The Malta Tax and Customs Administration wishes to inform you that, effective Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, non-EU status containers selected for physical control and requiring customs seals will be permitted to exit the Freeport Gate en route to the Containers and Groupage Unit (Hal Far Complex) starting at 0700 hrs, instead of the current 0745 hrs.

Please note that all other timings will remain unchanged.

This adjustment is part of our continuous efforts to facilitate trade while minimizing any adverse impacts.
