Subject:  Important update on the valuation procedure for imports of second-hand vehicles – 2^nd notice

Reference is being made to the notice published a few weeks ago.

To ensure the smooth operation and maintain efficiency, the import declaration will continue to be accepted in ‘draft’ status.   However, for the Valuation office to provide results on whether the values are accepted or not, the declaration must be in ‘selected for control’ status.

This will ensure that the Valuation Office prepares their workings in advance, allowing the valuation result to be delivered promptly once the declaration is marked as 'selected for control'.
