Termination of Over the Counter Facilities Through Local Banks to VAT Registered Persons

The Office of the Commissioner for Tax and Customs notifies that as from 28th February 2021 the service currently being offered by local commercial banks in relation to the submission and payment of VAT returns will be terminated.

It is strongly encouraged that VAT returns and payments are processed through the electronic portals available on the MTCA website.

If you still wish to submit your VAT return manually you may do so by visiting any Maltapost branch or by sending the return by mail to PO Box 2296.
